B.N. Jalan College is situated in the district of Gumla in Jharkhand. The College is two kilometers towards the west from the din of main town Sisai and National highway 143. Surrounded by tribal populace and its culture, the college saw its beginning in 1976. Shree Baijnath Jalan, the renowned industrialist and philanthropist offered to provide for the construction of the very first college building when some local people donated 51 acres of land.
